Peripheral Blood in EDTA lavender top tube

Container Type/Storage

Aspirate - Submit at least 10 mL aspirate in heparin coated syringe or aliquot at least 2 mL of aspirate into (2) lavender EDTA tubes, (1) Green Sodium Heparin top tube, (1) Plain Red top tube (no additives)
Core Biopsy - Submit in formalin container.
Transport at room temperature, deliever to lab immediately after collection.
